The St Albans Go club meets on Wednesday evenings at the White Lion public house in St Albans Hertfordshire to play the oriental game of go also known as Weiqi (Chinese) or Baduk (Korean).
You can expect to find us there every week except at Christmas and the new year.
The White Lion is at 91 Sopwell Lane, a one way street leading onto Holywell Hill near the centre of the town.
There is a car park, due east, or park near the pub after 8pm when a few places can usually be found. Alternatively, we are within walking distance of the Railway station which has a good service to London and Bedford (also Gatwick and Brighton)

Club contacts (further information may be found on the BGA WebSite).
Attendance has increased as awareness of the game has grown and we usually get 8-12 players ranging from beginner to Dan strength each week. If you come along we will be pleased to show you how the game is played. You can find pictures of the venue and some of our players in the links below - we look forward to seeing you - there is no formality.
